Davell Taylor
Davell (Taylor) is one of Tampa Bay’s most talented and rising comedic performers. His alluring stage presence and musical capabilities immediately captures the attention of audiences – leaving them rolling in laughter. Davell is renowned for his impersonations, animated jokes, musical parodies, and political satire. His interpretive themes make him an instant favorite with any audience.
Performing since 2005, Davell has already opened for comedic greats such as Earthquake, Charlie Murphy, and others. Davell also left a lasting impression on many people when he opened for the legendary Jeffery Osborne. His distinct brand of performing has landed him on the stages of several prominent entertainment venues, including nightclubs, theaters, colleges, and churches in major cities along the east coast.
In April of 2009 Davell was the winner of LMAO Comedy Competition which has landed him an exclusive in PULSE magazine. In 2010, Davell created his own title show named “I’m Still Broke,” a hilarious set of jokes about his poor childhood and how poor people handle the recession. His first show was performed at the Tampa Improv, in front of a sold out audience and for the remainder of 2010 and into 2011, the “I’m Still Broke” Tour will hit comedy clubs throughout Florida and along the east coast. Young, talented, gifted, energetic and handsome, Davell continues to be a trendsetter - wooing audiences across the board.
